About Us
Green Camp is a camp for children and teenagers aged 8 to 17.
Our story began 9 years ago. As parents ourselves, we saw that school and formal education can't always develop the important skills children pick up in informal settings. That's where the idea came from — to build a camp grounded in the highest standards of non-formal education, where children and teenagers can spend unforgettable time, grow a wide range of skills, make new friends, and discover themselves.
In our first year we ran 3 sessions; today we host up to 20 winter and summer sessions every year. Over these 9 years we've come a long way and gained countless friends.
Green Camp's Goals
Our goal is for children and teenagers to gain experiences and build skills that the traditional education system can't provide. We focus on areas such as:
- Communication
- Teamwork
- Effective conflict resolution
- Planning and organization
- Discipline
- Critical analysis
- Independence
To make this possible, we create an environment where they feel safe and accepted, and stay motivated and engaged.
Green Camp's program is built on years of experience and approaches grounded in European standards. Each activity is chosen to be both engaging and focused on real development.
We don't just create a fun program — we create an experience.
Green Camp's Values
Individual approach
While we keep clear boundaries, we take an individual approach with every child and teenager. We create an environment where they develop at their own pace and get to know themselves better.
Growth through play
We believe the best results come when a child enjoys the process. That's why every one of our activities combines fun with real development.
Authoritative, not authoritarian
We balance freedom and rules — clear boundaries, respect, and acceptance. Together, these give children and teenagers both freedom and a developing sense of responsibility.
A safe physical and emotional environment
We make sure every child and teenager feels protected, accepted, and valued. That's why a doctor, psychologist, mentor, and trained leaders are always on-site at camp.
A strong team
Our team is always growing and evolving. Every leader and staff member takes part in regular training.
Responsibility and independence
We help children take responsibility for their own decisions and behavior — and accept their own mistakes, knowing they'll have support in making things right.
Trust and open communication
Open, honest communication with both children and parents matters deeply to us. Trust is the foundation the whole camp rests on.
